This trophy in memory of William H. Harless, designer and builder of the Harless scooter, is donated to the South Bay Scooter Club by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Reynolds.
1. This trophy is to be sailed for each year of the scooter season and shall never be considered a keeper trophy.
2. This trophy is to be competed for by large scooters as defined in the racing rules of the South Bay Scooter Club. The course is to be a three (3) mile triangular one.
3. The first boat to finish four (4) complete consecutive laps of the established course shall be declared the winner.
4. This trophy is to be competed for under the racing rules of the South Bay Scooter Club.
5. The Race Committee of the South Bay Scooter Club shall decide the time and conditions for this race and shall decide any protests or disqualification's.
