This trophy is the property of the South Bay Scooter Club.
This trophy is deeded to promote the racing of the small boat class with pre-1970 design and construction methods (classic scooter.)
This trophy is to be awarded to the classic scooter (less than 150 square feet of sail) that acquires the least points in small and open races on the basis of relative position to other small scooters.
A scooter to win must sail in 75% of all race sailed.
A race started cannot be thrown out, but must
count in overall standings.
Total number of points will be on a percentage
basis.
This is a perpetual trophy.
E.I.Y.A. races do not count.
50 % of races must be held on Great South Bay.
All existing rules of the class racing shall apply.
Any changes to this deed of gift must be approved by the South Bay Scooter Club trophy committee.
Voted on and approved March 7, 2000 by the trophy committee.
