1. This trophy shall be the property of the South Bay Scooter Club.
2. The purpose of this trophy is to revive interest in the classic Great South Bay gaff-rig scooter.
3. The races for this trophy shall be conducted under the racing rules of the South Bay Scooter Club with the following exceptions.
a. Only gaff-rig boats may compete for this trophy.
b. Two or more boats shall constitute a race.
The length of each race shall be determined at the start of each race by a vote of the competing skippers.
