| Comment: | Owned and sailed by three generations in the same family. The only boat ever to retire the “Commodores Cup”, over a span of 26 years. Rebuilt a number of times and re-rigged four times. Often referred to as the “DOLLIE”or “WOODEN WORLD”. Scooter was named EILLOD after Brewster's wife. Sailed by J.K. Dominy, Jr., for first leg of The Commodore Cup 2/8/1922, and by J.K. Dominy, Jr., for third and winning leg. The boat was given to the Mystic Seaport, Mystic, Connecticut, where it was completely restored and is on exhibition at the time this is written.
