| Comment: | An extremely large, wide hull , originally with three sets of stainless steel runners on her bottom, fiberglassed plywood bottom and spruce decks with 1/4” masonite strips between spruce. First known boat to have three sets of runners. First boat to use stainless steel runners. First boat to trim mainsail from front end of cockpit. Big Mutha received a new cold molded bottom, woods and steel runners in 2004. She lost her starboard inner runner on her first race in 2004 but managed to continue and the win the race.
